MILLA JOVOVICH

Milla’s modeling career began at the young age of 11 when she chosen as Revlon cosmetics “Most Unforgettable Women in the World". Milla was born in Soviet Union the only child of Gallina Loginova, a famous Russian film star and father Bogdanovitch Jovovich. The family immigrated to the United States in 1980 when at the age of five Milla soon became the typical California girl, a life of fun in the sun and acting classes.

She pursued a child acting career in Hollywood, however it was at age 11 when her photo was taken for the cover of Mademoiselle magazine. However when the magazine discovered that Milla was only 11 years they refused to run the cover photo.

World famous photographer Richard Avendon, the photographer behind the cover photo, gave the magazine an ultimatum. He requested the magazine to run the cover or get a different photographer from that point on. So after a few words back and worth it all came down to Milla being the youngest model to ever grace the cover of a fashion magazine. However, this brought about a huge controversy of many groups screaming kiddie porn and people complaining about eating disorders.

Milla continued her modeling and acting career and at the age of 15 won the casting call for the movie Return to the Blue Lagoon. She has stared in many movies since then such as Kuffs, Dazed and Confused, The Fifth Element, and The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc.

Acting and modeling are not the only talents Milla possesses, she is also a skilled musician and songwriter. In 1994 she released her first album The Divine Comedy and is currently working on a new album in the near future.

Milla’s stunning beauty shines everywhere you look, be it on the big screen, cover of fashion magazines, music that you hear, or as model for L’Oreal.
