SWAMI JITATMANANDA MAHARAJ
       

Swami Jitatmananda Maharaj is one of the most renowned monk of the Ramakrishna Mission. He was born on May 11, 1941 in Bengal. After receiving degree in Science from Presidency College, Kolkata, he got his post - graduation degree in English from Jadavpur University.

       

Swamiji is a versatile monk of the mission. He is an educationist writer, management expert and an active social worker. He has represted India in various international seminars. He has been the chairman, in the International Conference on Zero, held at the National Academy of Science in February 1997. Swamiji acted as the Chairman of the National science Summit held at Bangalore. Currently, Swami Jitatmananda is the head of the Rajkot Centre of the Ramakrishna Mission and is the director of its various cultural, religious, educational and humanitarian service activities.

       

He is also the author of various book like ‘Modern Physics’ ‘Vadanta’ and ‘Holistic Science’.
