PUJYAPADA AYODHYA DASJI
       

Pujyapada Ayodhya Dasji Maharaj was born in the village Tulati of Orissa. He grew up under the guidance of H.H. Mahant Maharaj, Shri Ramchandra Dasji of Chhauni Math and Balaram Kot Math in Jagannath Puri. Later Ayodhya Dasji imbibed education from Shri Ramdasji Maharaj. Ayodhya Dasji got a lot of affection and advice from Ramdasji who sent him to Varanasi for higher studies.

       

Ayodhya Dasji was a highly meritorious student and published many journals and magazines. In 1965, he started publishing a Hindi monthly ‘Vairagya Jyoti’ from Varanasi and since then he has been its Chief Editor. Ayodhya Das Ji also worked as the Chief Editor of ‘Hindu Chetna’ and sub-editor of quarterly journals of Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya and Banaras Hindu Vishwavidalaya.

       

Since his student days, he was extremley inclined towards spiritualism. He visited many spiritual centres like Chitrakud, Ayodhya and Anustan. He is also involved with various social works.
