Matthew Fox plays the role of Charlie Salinger, the oldest of the Salinger clan, in “Party of Five". Son of Francis and Lori, he was born on July 14, 1966 in Crowheart, Wyoming. He is married to Margherita Ronchi, whom he met in New York, while attending Columbia University. Where he received an economics degree.
After finishing college, he began taking a few acting lessons and ended up making a few commercials for t.v. From then on, his career began looking brighter. Catching a role in the series “Freshman Dorm". After that we can remember Matthew in “My Boyfriends Back” and in the series “Wings". Then in 1994, he got the role of Charlie Salinger in “Party of Five".
Charlie has just finished going through the toughest time in his life. After going through extensive cancer treatment, he has received the best news ever. The cancer is in remition. He has decided to start a new life now that the cancer is behind him. He has turned over the restaurant to Bailey and has new dreams. He got involved with Daphne and they had a baby girl and called her “Diana". They named her after Charlie’s mom. She’s the newest member of the Salinger clan. He and Kirsten found their way back together. They recently got married and are planning to start a family of their own..
