Barry Bostwick was primarily known as a stage actor before winning the role of Brad (a hero) in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. Few people realize Barry created the role of Danny Zuko in the original Broadway production of GREASE (a part made famous by John Travolta). He received a Tony nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. After filming THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, Barry went on to star in the Broadway production of The Robber Bridegroom for which received a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He also starred in the Los Angeles production of PIRATES OF PENZANCE and the Broadway musical NICK AND NORA. Barry has a few film credits, which include MOVIE, MOVIE, MEGAFORCE, and WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S II. But he is most recognizable for his television work starring in dozens of miniseries and television movies including the title role in GEORGE WASHINGTON, WAR AND REMEMBRANCE and YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU. He starred in the sitcom DADS and also guesthosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
