  Jill Emery (born 1962) is an artist and musician currently based in Los Angeles, United States.   
  She is best known as the bassist for the alternative rock band Hole from 1989-1992;               
  She left the band after the release of Hole's debut album Pretty on the Inside                   
  and was briefly replaced by Leslie Hardy and ultimately replaced by Kristen                       
  Pfaff. She has played in various other bands such as Teardrain, Mazzy Star,                       
  Shadow Project and Super Heroines.
