and artist. His first film was The Lords of Flatbush (1974). His sinister
look has made him a popular choice for villains and mobsters appearing in
several films and TV shows. His most notable film appearances including The
Mambo Kings opposite Antonio Banderas, the adaptation of Judge Dredd with
Sylvester Stallone and American Gangster with Denzel Washington and Russell
Crowe. He had a recurring guest star role in several episodes of NCIS, playing
an international arms dealer. He won an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding
